Crow Fair Board Names MCs, Drum Groups and More
The tribal members who will work with Albert Gros Ventre, this year's Crow Fair powwow director, and help run the celebration in August have been selected and are featured on a recently released flier for the event.
The handbill includes the names of the 2008 arena directors, singing judges and invited drum groups. All drums of the Apsaalooke will be selected as the powwow's host drums, according to the flier, and Jason Good Striker of Canada, and the Apsaalooke Nation's Dale and Robert "Corky" Old Horn are scheduled to be this year's masters of ceremonies.
Seven dance categories and three singing contests are also promised. Stay tuned, as dance specials and hand drum contests will be announced in the coming months.
To see the complete list of staff, invited drum groups and dance contests, you can download the flier in PDF format, or view it in JPEG format.

It's great to see familiar faces and hear about the people back home. Helps alleviate the homesickness we sometimes feel. Great job!

The comment attributed to me on April 8, 2008 at 8:58 a.m. is not the comment I made. Mine was complementing the article. I do not speak English in that immature manner. I never say "you guys" and I do not say "you got" in that manner. I know how to correctly use to, too, and two in proper context. Please remove my name from that childish comment.
Thank you for you cooperation.

last years Crow Fair was a flop, due to the rodeo only having 8 saddle bronc riders and the races were suppose to have at least $10,000 purses in the All American, Crow Bred Futurity, where did the money go?
After the rodeo where did the pow wow go, boy sure good to have money and not pay out in rodeo, sucks.
Keep the pow wow going on sunday night and when you advertise a prize keep it, don't change in the middle of the game.
